| Carter 4600 fuel pump Hi guys, I've aquired one of these pumps but can't find much info about it? would it be o.k to use with a carb. I have looked at many pics and it seems to be alot bigger than the ones you guys fit. It has a silver body where as the ones i have seen have a gold colour body. It has also come with 1/2" hose fittings which is to big for my solid pipe (10mm), can i reduce these fittings to 3/8" or will this cause the pump to stall or overheat. Many thanks Russ

| carter pump Russ, the 4600HP is rated @ 100 GPH and 6-8 PSI, doesent need a regulator. Its roughly the same as Holley Red Top , should be OK......Mike |
