Post Jaguar XJ40 brakes info needed

In order to design a dual mastercylinder brake setup for my Dax de Dion I am looking for the following info;

a) stroke and diameter of the front calipers (Jaguar XJ40)
b) stroke and diameter of the rear calipers (Jaguar XJ40)
c) the diameter of the used discs if available. (Jaguar ?)

Regards,
Skorpion

Hi Andy.
Go and measure the ones on your car in the garage you lazy git!
There are 2 types of brakes fitted to the XJ40, Girling or ATE.

Lightbulb

Hi Dave,
Thanks for the advice...
I am trying to safe myself indeed some hours of un-necessary work.
Perhaps somebody (like you) have them just laying around, that is much quicker and easier ;O)
Regards,
Skorpion

I'm using XJ40 rears which are 304 Dia, vented and about 21mm thick.
With Wilwood Midilite Calipers using the smalles pistons, don't remember diameter but can find out if your interested.

Partnumber for Midilite caliper was Z-120-7542 coresponding with the 1.25" piston diameter, this was as close as I could get to the same piston area of the S3 twin piston caliper.
S3 twin 44mm piston, total area = 3041sq mm
Midilite 4 * 31.8mm piston, total area 3177sq mm

Don't know how this compares to the standard XJ40 caliper which I believe is a single piston floating type.

The Midilite calipers will not fit the smaller XJ40 discs (without severe hub modification) or most other calipers I measured.
