Cooling system

[T-Bone]

I am using a re-cored radiator from a Cortina because it's the right size. It has a single inlet at the top and a single outlet at the bottom.

The query is this: If I want to install an expansion box (and I do) should I simply 'T' into the top hose?

Any ideas/photos would be much appreciated.

What is the purpose of the expansion box? Is this going to be a header tank used to top up/refill the system?

You can tee into the top hose if you can find an unequal tee to take a smaller hose from the header tank.
