Brake / hydraulic fittings

Hi All
When you attach brake pipes to master cylinder or caliper, or when you attach hydraulic pipe to the clutch master & slave, do you use any Locktite thread locker? or do you just tighten up the fittings?
Just want to make sure.

I'd just tighten them up without any thread lock.

The components are fairly delicate and you could end up buggering the thread if you need to dismantle them and you had used thread lock.

I've never had a joint come loose, even when I was racing.

HTH,

Pete

Thanks for the advice Pete.
When I was doing some work on my Citroen I thought I saw a little threadlocker around the fittings. That started me thinking.

I think all hydraulic fittings are intended to seal dry, as thread lock etc wouldnt be any use at hydarulic system pressure; like pete sidecar bod Ive never used it on these fittings, and never had anything come loose racing (Ive had the reverse problem in the paddock though...cant get the bugger undone)
