| Alternator and dissy Does anyone know what make the alt and dissy on the below pictures I appear to have 2 live feeds to the alt and this is with no ignition switched on, everything seems to work OK (2 lives from batt ) ???  I have no warning lamp at all fitted so need to sort out where to connect the warning light wiring Any help much appreciated Pete      |

| Looks like std GM - pattern alternator and HEI distributor?

| Both look identical to mine which are pattern GM items. HEI dizzy and std 65 amp alternator

| Dissy and alternator Thank Guys, I have searched all over for a picture to identify the alt, and 2 minutes on here and it's answered, brilliant Still finding it hard to understanding 2 feeds direct from the batt. I presume terminal 1 is earthed until engine is started which produces power which then cancels out the warning light What does HEI stand for and where can I get any info on it Many thank for the help pete I might get the nerve up one day to ask "WHAT'S A TOP LOADER GEARBOX" maybe |
