Driver Friendly Street Twin

You may remember some time back I was questioning an alternative to the very heavy McLeod Street Twin I was using.

Well to cut a long story short I discovered that McLeod broughy out a new Street Twin called the RST. Claimed to be much lighter to use than the standard Street Twin.

They also advocate that it gives a much lower pedal effort than the standard street Twin and copes with up to 800 BHP in standard format and up to 1200 BHP (I think) in RXT form.

I was a bit scepticle, but I went ahead and got one, finishing installing it about an hour ago. Well it has exceeded expectations as the pedal effort is nothing near to the standard street twin, it feels more like my BMW clutch and boy is it smooth. Because it dosent need a massive force, its very easy to let the clutch out progressively.

Honestly if you are fitting to a street car the unit is so good and so user friendly, really well worth it for the extra money. So very simple to install also - I will try and post a few pictures next week.

All the best and happy New Year
