Lucas, wiring !

Hi

I'am making a new wiring on my Dax Cobra with Rover engine.
There is "a box" (see the pictures), I don't what is it doing.
Is there someone who now what it is ?
There are 6 terminals, 3 in each end. The 3 terminals in the one end are connected to the starter , to plus and to the tarchometer. The 3 terminal in the other end is going to the ignition coil, 2 of the wires are going to each side of the coil , I don't where to put the 3 ?
Hope you can help, and read it , it is not my first language.

Checking on google LUCAS 9BR it appears to be a ballast resistor for the ignition system. Maybe one of the rover V8 guys here can help with wiring instructions.

PS Don`t worry about your language skills - your English seems better than some of the muppets on here who think English is their first language and it`s definitely better than my Danish.

It is a ballast resistor for use with the OPUS system (35DE distributor. The later Lucas distributors had the amp on the side of the distributor (black box) or under the coil
