Jag brake calipers

Will be carrying out a winter rebuild of the front brake calipers due to one of them having some binding on issues. I wondered if anyone has used lighter weight ones from makers such a Brembo and if they have made any difference?

Hi,

I am using the original Jag calipers on the AK but at one time did consider Willwood or Brembo. However IMO I would suggest unless you intend on serious track time, aftermarket calipers may be overkill considering the original calipers were designed to stop a car nearly 1 ton heavier than your average Cobra replica.

Regards,

Martyn
