RV8 Engine Brackets

Hi All

Does anyone recognise these engine brackets? These are the brackets that came with my cobra but as you can see one of the previous owner's has b*ggered them about so that they're different sizes (Clap, clap clap - real good engineering you pathetic t*t).

I'd like to find out what vehicle they originally came from (They dont Look like SD1 brackets to me) so that I can replace them.

Anyone have any ideas?

CeeJay.

They look a bit like the range rover ones I used on my RV8.

They didn't come off any Rover engine i've ever seen. Suggest they are 'specials'.

If thats the case then I think I'll need to try and fix them rather than scrap them.

Thanks for the replies guys - I'd done some research proir to putting up this post (Thought they could be P5b or P6 brackets) but having drawn a blank I thought I'd ask the experts!

I'll get some steel plate on Monday and set about the brackets with the welder.

CeeJay.

Don't look like any Rover ones I've seen too.

Modify or re-fabricate seems the best solution.

Craig.
