Post Gillingham: SVA test dates

In case anyone is about to apply for their SVA, you might want to know that there is presently a very long wait for test dates at Gillingham test centre (Kent).

We applied for the SVA almost a month ago. After we'd returned receipts and photos and negotiated over the engine revs at maximum power, there was a 2 week wait until today when we were notified of a test date. The earliest we could get at Gillingham is 22nd April (which we've booked... eeek!).

As of this afternoon, 23rd April was free, but after that they are booking mid/end May!! One of their 2 testers is off long term sick (had an accident in his car...).

Just to warn you...

Simon

Yes afraid so, back on it today, laying out wiring loom and working out where it goes.

PC is going fine though, you can hardly hear it now, just about to do an on-line race in an Exige at Dubai, with some Euro mates.
