Rover/T5 Combination.

Has anyone, or does anyone know, if it is possible to link a Rover V8 with a Borg Warner T5 gearbox? If so were there any major problems?

I looked into this a year or two ago. I believe that you need to modify a borg warner (type 35) gearbox bellhousing, which you could do yourself or I think a company called JE developments can provide you with one if you cross their palm with lots of silver pennies.

Or you could just have a look around and find a tvr thats gone through a hedge backwards (most of them...) and buy the bits from that...

Didn't think that gearbox price was too bad till I read that VAT has to be added to the final price including postage

JE Developments boxes are on this link, they are not cheap but do include throw-out bearing ect
