3 things have just gone right in a row !

Thursday the nice man came back from Brighton DVLA and said the plate with chassis number welded to chassis was good and his inspection was complete and ok.

Friday morning, take car to Sussex performance cars rolling road in Horsham, chap sets up carb and timing and says all fine with settings for emissions and hydrowatsits and the like.
Also says thinks 750 cfm Holley is too big for stroker, just for info.

Friday afternoon take car for MOT and passes first time, even get to drive car as we had to test the brakes with a deccelerometer , brakes feel a bit poor but passes ok, I guess they are all new and not bedded in.

Next big milestone is SVA in a couple of weeks from now.............. do you think my luck will run? Doing lottery this weekend.

David

Sounds good, best of luck at SVA. If you get a chance, try to bed the brakes in a bit more as the SVA brake test is more severe than an MOT.

Glad the welded plate worked OK.

If you haven't already, I would get that painted soon to stop rust setting in underneath it.

Craig.

David,

Good luck with the SVA test (and the lottery) don't forget to bed in the handbrake, not too much though! Then readjust it.
