| Mine is blocked off as the heater is mounted on the bulkhead in the tunnel and the collector box is the other side. I wouldn't say it gets too hot either. On a cold winters day with the fan on full, It's just enough to keep the footwells cosy

| Agreed. I blocked it off on mine to and used the slimline plastic plenum from car builder solutions for the hose take offs. I had to cut a piece out of the middle and glass it up again to reduce the width but it fitted nicely after that - I blanked off the bit you are talking about using a bent piece of alulinium. I only have mine connected to the screen vents at the moment but there is another 2 take offs that I could hose into the footwells if I required. I will see how it goes-it was cosy enough for the 300miles to stoneleigh and back. John.
