Toyota W55 gearbox shifter positions.

Hi,

Anyone have any experience of W55 series gearboxes or good sources for advice / parts.

I have a W55 5 speed with what I believe to be the rearmost shifter position and would like to source a shifter that moves it forward at least 3in, maybe more.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Andy

Maurice,

Nice find. It shows a picture to confirm what \i already suspected. The shifter is in the rearmost position possible.
I just need to find source here in the uk for supply of a more forward mounted shifter.
Perhaps there is a demand for the unit I have and a swap could be possible.

Thanks,

Andy

you don't need the whole box just the bit that mounts the gear lever
