Fitting Fog & Reversing light to rear bumper
I'm looking for ideas to attach the fog and reversing lights to my rear bumper.
If these can be bought with the correct fittings already supplied then that would be perfect, otherwise I need a method of fixing them to the bumper. All suggestions welcome. Cheers

My fog light is a nice snug fit between the bars so I took it apart and drilled the fog light case top and bottom then did the same to the bumper . Attached with self tappers and rebuilt the light.

My rear fog lamp is located under the rear scuttle and can be folded up out of sight when not needed. (The min height for SVA is 250 mm)

I just fitted a cheap plastic one from Halfords pre sva and then just replaced it with one of these from SVC. I mounted the plastic one with a P clip round the bumper then post SVA drilled the rear of the bumper, rivnut'd the holes and made a aluminium bracket to secure the nice chrome fog light.

I was going to use the same style lights as the tail lights but fitted to the body between the bumper bars. I was going to check against the SVA regs but haven't done so yet, anyone know of a reason why I shouldn't?
I'm sure I've seen a pic with this done. Andi.

Not sure if they will be high enough mounted between the bumper bars. Double check the minimum height restrictions for the rear lights. |
