They have excessively stiff side walls (which could solve Gareth's problem) and give a very hard ride with less grip than ordinary tyres. If I had a 5 series I would be lucky to see 10K. On the plus side they have come down to £130 each. So that's alright then

And as a BMW driver you expect what exactly?

It's even more expensive to have indicators retro-fitted to a BMW

LOL yeah know what you mean there but my 330 coupe (just) needed new rears (255-30-19) at 20,000 miles but the fronts are still fine at 26,000 or so.

Sounds normal to me, the Audi range is the same, but i bet you don't complain about the way it handles!

Youre right I dont; in fact I read all the negative remarks about the Bridgestone run flats before I first drove one, and in the last 14 months Ive searched in vain for harsh ride, instability at speed and tramlining and all the other reported defects, but found none.

Make no mistake Im not one of those who wont say anything bad about something when I ve bought it; Ive criticised many a car and a couple of bikes during ownership of them; but the 330coupe just continues to grow on me as a really very nice car to drive.
If it wasnt for the BMW image problem (and the arseholes that work in sales in the dealerships); it would be almost perfect LOL.

I guess Ill just have to learn to live with the strange people who give me the wanker sign/pull out right in front of me for no reason; envy is a powerful thing I guess.

Oh and my indicators work too; but then again its my first BMW after a run of Audis and VW's so maybe I need to practice being more of an arrogant ignorant git LOL

..........now where did I put that pink shirt and expensive pair of sunglasses............get outa my way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
