Yes but mines a MKII.
I have about 3 inches between the air filter and bonnet, I don't think the engine in the MK3 is mounted any higher.

I found it pretty straightforward. I got bits from Real Steel, they suggested I use black RTV on the inlet manifold gasket around the water ways even though I used a composite gasket, the new throttle cable was a bit awkward pedal end, but the hardest part was bleeding the air out of the coolant, I ended up drilling small holes in the thermostat and filling the system through the top hose into the engine not into the expansion tank.

big thank you to everybody for there help and advice.I`ve now gone and ordered it !!!!Anybody who fancies dropping round on Sunday to help ( take the p155) is more than welcome,as i feel I will need a hand to fit all this.Tea, toast, beer ,fags will be on hand...
