Fuel Sender VWP

Hi,

Has anybody fitted the fuel tank sender from Vehicle Wiring Products & connected it up to the Smiths fuel gauge (Caerbont Automotive Instruments) I've ordered one from Holden's but it's taking a age to come through, I spoke to VWP yesterday & they didn't know what range Ohms the sender worked from while the gauge goes from full to empty, they supply these senders for their range of Durite gauges that they supply, I've also mailed Durite but they haven't got back to me.

Guys,

I've had a reply from Durite & their sender that is sold by VWP works in the range of:-

Resistance range for our tank unit is 30Ù (full) to 240Ù (empty),

From what I've read that has been posted on the forum that's about the same range as the Caerbont sender.
