Don't do it.
It's a 427SC replica isn't it?

What are you thinking that way for? Worried about noise or burnt legs?

Yeah the noise is the ONLY thing actually. Neighbours, long journeys, MOT's??, track days

427SC like this one on Kirkhams site

Hi Dale,
I have underslung exhausts on my 289. Not much of a problem really, but then there aren't many sleeping policemen up here. If it does occasionally bottom out, it tends to be just after the downpipes that catches. Incidentally I have Jaguar IRS rear but no problems there.

Obviously going to be different on your chassis but as long as I slow down for speed bumps I don't have a problem with the underslungs on my GD. Just don't use standard exhaust U clamps as these are rather bullky, I use the mikador clamps where ground clearance is an issue.

Unless you go for ridiculously loud side pipes you cant really hear them once you are on the move. The only thing you can hear is wind noise and that will not change. Now noise for track days is a different story although I don’t have an issue with mine but then again I have no idea how much they restrict the gas flow, they are Custom Chrome Pipes.
