LT77 Specilalist

Anyone heard of or had dealings with a Company in the West Mids called TM Transmissions? They're currently advertising service exchange V8 LT77's on ebay for £375. Sounds a good deal, any thoughts?

Never heard of TM (and I am a local). However, Ashcroft are THE recognised Rover gearbox experts and their box is just about the same price - OK it's a they are quoting for a 4x4 version but don't see why a 2WD would be any more.

Ashcroft Transmissions

I had a box off them, he gave me 75 quid each for the exhange boxes and am more than happy with the one he supplied (with 12 months warranty in writing)
