I was just about to post a similar question, given my impending arrival in the next couple of weeks of the new machine. Seems BB are the best option, I also got a more promising service from them when quoting.
One additional question - any advice about the agreed value of the car & how to get this ratified for th Insurance companies (particularly BB) ?

Thanks

Phoned B.Bloor last monday 4pm to change from chassis number to registration, cover note arrived next day & that is there standard level of performance.

These people are superb.

I've just changed from Flux to BB and my premium halved, for the same cover, mileage, excess and value. Wish i'd done it years ago.

I've just taken my Insurance out this week with BB,
Build Insurance for up to £20000 was about £240 that covered me moving it about on a trailer,
Then the full premium for the finished car £30000 agreed value, 1500 miles was £310 and i only pay the difference when it gets on the road!!
I dealt with Ann who was very helpful.

Cheers Mark

And you could all have your premiums again if you went with Hagerty. Hagerty Classic Car Insurance

Same cover as BB and half the cost.

Been there, done that, caveat emptor. Inappropriate underwriting IMHO and that of a few other industry insiders.

But of course, buying Insurance is all about price, isn't it Mike?

any negative opinions on MSM or Footman? Had 2 accidents this year and BB don't want to know (even though one of the accidents wasn't my fault, i don't have any points and i don't have any convictions or accidents apart from that in the last 5 years). Am currently being quoted....wait for it......£1321.85 :S any advice? (apart from don't have any accidents)

Si

Have had MSM recommended to me before now, but they couldn't match BBs quote, never dealt with Footman James........luck.

Heritage might be worth a look too. One thing, please avoid Adrian Flux as they are awful.
