LT77 remote

Message for Russell Ram and anyone who has put an LT77 remote on an R380 gearbox.
Please see attached images - there seems to be a complete missmatch - I'm not sure if there is more than one type of remote from the SD1. The pivot end of the romote shaft when over the gearbox pivot sits the remote too high.
Any help/advice appreciated.

Stan,
You're mixing up the remote parts, and that's the problem.
The fitting you have on the R380 is from a commercial remote , but the remote control you're attempting to fit is from a car.
If you get a pin from a car remote , it will all fit into place.

Regards
Jim

Jim,
Thanks for that. I realized after posting the message that I had to remove the casting and bush from the gearbox shaft. I've just done this but the pin I have with the SD1 remote doesn't fit - the thread diameter is too large to fit the gearbox shaft.

Stan,
To fit the pin from the SD1 remote you need to open out the hole in the R380 shaft with a drill, and file the top of the shaft flat to allow the nut to seat.
