Dax supplied pipe is about 7.5mm too so probably a -4 braided pipe.

I think the biggest restriction may be in the cylinders themselves. The drilling's at the base of the piston bore are usually quite small.

Hi Denis,

Just dug out my GD supplied flexible pipe set from the master cylinders through the bulkhead adapters in the wing and onto the bulkhead block mounted on the chassis and they are all -03 braided pipe and fittings.

Not sure why GD would then use a -04 from the 3 way chassis mounting block to the clutch slave cylinder.

I got my fittings and hose from Fay at Speedflow.

I've now found my missing vernier calipers.... -4 is about 7.5mm Outside diameter.
I've noticed that the swaged fitting on the end of the -3 hose has an internal diameter of only 2.4mm so it is even more of a restriction. I'm sure some of the other GD owners have some 3/16" copper or kunifer hardline in the wheel compartment and then maybe -3 and or -4 to the Clutch. The three flexibles from the inner wheel arch to the Bulkhead connectors certainly all look the same size (-3) on the pictures I've taken at shows. Grateful for comments.

Denis
Sorry mate should have made myself more clear, I have tried both sizes of pipes and both gave the same performance.
