| Hi Mark I planned to use the diff sensor in my car but the cables were unfortunately damaged whilst I was moving the diff about the garage. In the end I made up a plate with a large thread in it to hold a Smiths sensor in the same location as the original sensor. It worked fine and gave good readings but then I decided to change my diff to a lower ratio one. The new diff didn't have the pick up ring on the crown wheel so I then had to go over to the Tremec sensor which works equally well. No reason why the Jag sensor won't work though. I also thought of using one of the ABS sensors on the wheels. That should also work quite well. You might just be able to see it in the photo.

| Hi Mark, If you are using a Ford 302 what gearbox are you using? My suggestion would be to use the speedo drive from the gearbox, you should have a lot less bother in the long run.

| Do you know how many wires the Jag sensor has? I have the Jag wiring diagram at home so may be able to see what type of sensor it it. What type of gauges are you using? Craig.

| The car is having the exhausts done at the moment so i can't check, but i think there are two wires on the existing and both are damaged. I was going to replace it if it was a better, more accurate setup. The gauges are Dax supplied, Smiths Classic electronic speedo Mark.
