TKO600 Speedo Calibration

Hi All, i am trying to setup my new smiths 160mph speedo to a TKO600.

Does anyone know the pulses per mile for a dax running 17" rims and a 3.31 diff?

30,768......If your gearbox is from Repower and has 12 pulses per prop rotation.
17 pulse gearboxes have cropped up on here before now though. This would give you 43,588

Ta Dave, After speaking to Tremec support. i believe the Tremec Ford boxes are 12 pulses per rotation and the Tremec GM boxes have 17 pulses per revolution
