| I think I'd be inclined to give Speedy a ring to check, the wiring diagram I have for Smiths Classic instruments show 10v for fuel, water and oil temp. Andi.

Andi Have you got the part number for your temp gauge is it IWTG ? |
| ||||
| As Craig said and don't forget that some gauges have internal regulation so the voltage stab is not required. As Andi said, a call to Speedy would help and also check on the net by comparing part numbers to your instruments. Caerbont Automotive.

| Cliffords, I have VDO gauges that consistantly show 2v below what a competent mechanic meter shows Jim S |
| |||
| Last night with the cooling fan on and the headlights on at tickover I had 12v showing on the meter I rigged up , and hey presto the temp gauge read normal ( not high as it usually does) the fuel dipped a bit ( it normally runs out at 1/10) and the clock started working ! I do want to feed it all 12v Has anyone seen a 12v stabaliser ? Thanks |
