    Hi,

Can brake discs be powder coated ( all except where the pads contact)
as the temp for powder coating is high also lots of calipers are coated with this?

I think the temperature for powder coating will be very much lower than brakes are designed to work at so I don't see why not.

Will masking the brake surface be possible?

I have my own powder coating kit it works great, you can use normal masking tape and remove it while it's tacky or you can buy special tape.

The kit is from diy powder coating systems

and you can get all kinds of colours and finnishes.
