Damper Instalation

Putting all my go faster bits on my 350 chevy this week (very excited-haven't driven the car since november so it will be like blasting it for the first time) On previous posts had some very useful info about various things including removal of damper. Have been advised to use proper installer for new damper but haven't got one,don't know any one near me who has & quoted 50 quid to buy. My mate who is doing the work says he has never had a problem ( I think he uses a club hammer !!!)Trying to cover all angles before he arrives so it goes smoothly, any tips greatly appreciated.

p.s Can't help spending money on the car "oh its only 50 quid etc,etc the wife would go mental if she knew how much I had spent lately. I hid all the bits in the garage but she saw the new ally heads, told her they cost £150..new carb £60...this car brings out the worst in me.
