| REAL Vitesse Gearbox Talk about lucky, The seal on the back of our 5 speed Rover V8 box had gone so we ordered a new one. We got the new seal and it didn't fit. Dad was being paranoid have having kitens because he thought we'd been sold a dodgy box. After a phone call to Rimmer Bros its turns out we had a Genuine Vitesse gearbox (which we are told is VERY rare). It has bigger shafts all the way throught and closer ratios. Can anyone help with the ratios that it has please? Also while I'm posting a build update for all you happy people. We've got a full rolling chassis and we are doing the brake lines. The engine and box are goin in next weekend. Believe it or not when we had to parts it only took us 1 week of evenings and weekends top assemble a rollin chassis. The skills....      |
