| RE: AK front lower wishbone fitting Hi Vince, yes, the bottom wishbone bends upwards and towards the front of the car. Fit the suspension /spring unit before you locate the bottom ball joint into the wishbone.......otherwise it will be a real ball-ache..... cheers, Tony. ( busy knitting a wiring loom):7

RE: AK front lower wishbone fitting Haynes Jag workshop manual is all but essential to rebuild the suspension brakes and diff correctly, I strongly recommend you get one it will save a lot of frustration, e.g. do you know how to shim up the front and rear suspension? Talk nicely to Gordons Jag spares, tell them you're buiding an AK and ask them for a price list and catalogue it contains lots of nice suspension drawings. regards Kev

RE: AK front lower wishbone fitting Thanks for that guys. I would have looked at the build video but the one supplied was filmed during a snow storm in Russia. Either that or it was a blank tape. Oops.... I do have a Jag build book but couldn't make out the angle from the pictures. Great. I'll now carry on until I'm rolling. Regards Vince@gledhill.info

RE: AK front lower wishbone fitting I'd second that, how jaguar managed to get so many shims, bearings, washers, etc into a single wishbone, and make it so incredibly difficult to set up on a production car still amazes me!! - Get a Dax Tojeiro manual too as I found that was 20 quid well spent (bought when I was thinking of getting a dax, then didn't but was still glad I had the manual) - it has quite a good diagram of how the front and rear suspension go together (clearer than the haynes manual) amongst other things. In fact I don't use it any more I could send you the relevent bits. Stuart.

AK front lower wishbone fitting I have enclosed a drawing. No it's not a picture of an old ladys T*ts. I forgot to make a note when I took the lower wishbones off my donor subframe. Please could someone let me know which way round they should go on my AK kit. Regards Vince@gledhill.info
