Accelerator Cable

Hi,

I have a Rover 3.5 with twin SU's in my sumo and have a problem with the accelerator cablex( x(

It seems to have to travel a long way in order to fully open the carbs - is this normal, do I have a wrong cable attached or what can I do to reduce the amount of travel?

Thanks in advance!!!

Steve

RE: Accelerator Cable

Yep, mine has a long travel as well but when you get driving, you get used to it.

I suppose you could modify the pedal or the cable connection quadrany on the engine end, nut is it worth the hassle ?

Up to you.

Yep, my throttle pedal also has a long travel but you get used io it.

You could modify the pedal or the cable connection quadrant at the other end to reduce the travel but is it worth it ?
