Roll hoop

The message i posted a couple of weeks ago seems to have dissapeared!!...so sorry for repeating myself, has anyone any details of dimensions for roll hoop brace?......I have just had made a roll hoop ( did not like wall thickness of 'standard' ones available and c/c did not quite match my chassis).
I am thinking of adding a rear facing....or maybe a forward facing brace......so if anyone could give me indication of dimensions or even a sketch of the brace i would be gratefull.

cheers

RE: Roll hoop

Dave

I have made a completly new single roll hoop for my RAM
it sits on a platform I built behind the drivers seat, with
a forward facing brace.
the hoop is now inside the car and leans backwards in sympathy
with the wind screen except for the grommets through the
top roll, (this is as the original race conversion)
the Brace goes from just under the radius of the hoop
forward to a crossmember of the chassis on the passengers side
foot well about level with the clutch
I made the brace from a 6 foot length of tube with a 15 degree
bend in it (to keep it close to the tunnel)and just kept grinding it till it fitted....slow and steady
