Southern Roadcraft Rear shocks and Springs

Can anyone tell me what the rear spring rates are that i should be running on my SRV8 or the type and size of shocks that are required. I have been having problems for several years now with the rear wheel carrier bottoming out on dips or on heavy acceleration, such that i have had to cut off the base of the carrier as it was almost completely destroyed. I believe the spring rates for all four are currently 200 LBs and that the shocks are Spax of some type or other. If anyone is running an SRV8 with rover engine(do not know if this makes any difference) and has used something other than Spax successfully (i.e. like Dampertech) can they let me know what size and Lbs they fitted. Any info would be much appreciated. Similarly i need to have my fuel injection system set up again, has anyone used Power Engineering's rolling road? any info on them would be appreciated before i spend out my hard earned bucks.
Cheers
Brian

RE: Southern Roadcraft Rear shocks and Springs

Hi I to have SRV8 with Chevy and yes I have same springs as you at rear and although it has not taken to the road yet it seems to high, maybe lesser poundage springs. You could also speak to Madgewick cars to see what they do as they are the new owners of the SR project.
