Fibre Glass Repairs??? Pilgrim Mk2

Hello,
Can anyone recommend a place where I can get some fibre glass repairs done? I have Mk2 Sumo which tried to mate with a VW polo, causing various damage to my front driver side. As its a Mk2, Pilgrim don't have the mould anymore and are unable to help with a replacement. I'm desperatley trying to prevent this being a write off as I've only had it a month, and it is only the shell and the front light which needs replacing. I'm in Berkshire but would be willing to travel nearly any distance to get this done, so any recomendation would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Paul

Posted against your last threas so don't know if you've picked it up already - so sorry for the repeat info...

"There is a company up the road that specialise in Cobra crash repair

Tel: 01932 828545
Mobile: 07860 912217
Fax: 01932 828550
Brooklands Motor Company
Brabham Buildings Bridge Estate
Byfleet Road
Weybridge
Surrey
KT15 3JE

www.brooklandsmotorcompany.co.uk

I live 100 meters down the road and I've seen badly damaged fibreglass cobras go in to that place. From what I've seen they do a great job at sorting them out. I do believe they are an acredited insurance repair shop and they have done alot of work with the origal cobra's.

Worth investigating..."

The Fiero Factory Euro427 is suspiciously similar to the Sumo 11, so they may be able to help you with a side for your car.

Robert,
You'll find a barny on this in the old threads. Basically Fiero built their own chassis, took the body mould from a Sumo shell and also copied the Sumo door hinges. I know at least one of the guys there is ex-Pilgrim, and I think they wanted to make a budget cob which used more Sierra donor parts than the Sumo. Hence no mini heater etc.

I had a crawl round one that I saw at the Brooklands show, and yep, definetly a Sumo shell, right down to the way it fixes on the body. Cockpit and chassis are new designs though.

Paul,
Just as a matter of interest, this wasn't a red one purchased from Hallmark cars was it?
