Different types of chassis

Hi all,

The poll which was about types of chassis http://www.cobraclub.com/forum/DCForumID72/40.html didnt actually explain which chassis was what and what the outcome of each type was. I'm interested, so any time you having nothing to do and would like to take the time explain i would enjoy the read.

Cheers Kelvin

RE: Different types of chassis

Kelvin

I am working on a document which will be uploaded when I do the updates which looks at how the different chassis configurations work and interact with the suspension in a FERW (Front Engine Rear Wheel) layout as we have with the Cobs.

If you can't wait until then, then let us know what sort of basic info you are after.

My Son had a toy steering wheel which he used to spin furiously, making loads of go-faster noises, leaning into all the tight corners, perhaps running the government feels a bit like that. You make all the noises, but when you stop you haven't really gone anywhere.
