| Types of LSD/Traction Control Besides the Jaguar Powerlok LSD (which many of you seem to use), are there any alternatives out there? Maybe something a little more modern without the disadvantages of a Powerlok? Supposedly roundabouts, etc. can be 'interesting' to say the least. I like the way my Cobra drives but I want to help it 'get off the line' more efficiently? I know Quaife were listing a 'Torque sensing diff.' which sounded ideal, but when I came to order one they had discontinued it and would only make them in batches of 30 orders to make it worth their while. My 400ci Chevy makes over 500lbft torque and therefore the standard open Jag. diff. cannot put the power down successfully. There appears to be considerable debate as to whether a LSD is a good idea or not for a street car? Comments and recommendations please Gentleman on this wet, anti-Cobra driving Tuesday morning. Thanks..... |

| RE: Types of LSD/Traction Control Sime Take a look at www.racelogic.co.uk for a full traction control system. Expensive but very effective... |

| RE: Types of LSD/Traction Control The racelogic system is very good and enables you to dial in amounts of slip. Ask me after the weekend, as it is being fitted to my GD if we have time after the injection system goes on. Robert Forum Admin http://www.cobraclub.com/flags/UK.gif
