Windscreen wiper delay

OK you brainy ones.

I have devised a simple circuit to operate my wipers at slow and fast speed.

I wish to have the facility of a delayed wipe and have obtained a Ford red wiper delay relay. It is marked 31, 54, 31b1 and 31b2. Now I assume 31 goes to earth and 54 probably to the supply.

Question is how do I incorporate the relay and how do I connect it? My circuit I have devised is below if it posts OK.

Hi John,
This is not the answer that you are waiting for but maybe helps someone.
It helps to overload the Lucas wiper motor with a normal “Close relay”.
I use a normal single switch action in a double pole switch with a bridge.
With all weather protection boot from “APEM”
