sumo seats & trim

I believe Penny Vernon makes the seats for Pilgrim. Has anybody got a contact number? Can she also supply door trim panels?

Im wandering if I should deal direct, rather than go through Pilgrim.

Sorry I don't have the number to hand but I know she advertises in the Snake Torque magazine if you have one handy.

Contact details for Penny Venon are : Tel 01963 370986
1-2 High street, Yenston, Nr Templecombe, Somerset, BA8 ONG.

Door panels Leather £75 pr - Vinyl £50
Dashboard Leather £75 - Vinyl £50
Hand Brake & Geastick Gaiters Leather £15 - - Vinyl £10
Seats Leather £485 - Vinyl £385 pr

Package deal (all of the above) Leather £600 - Vinyl £450
All prices Inc VAT.

It's worth noting that Penny will not undercut the price she sells to Pilgrim for, but the quality of the leather used to make the seats direct is better. This is due to the fact that Pilgrim ask for a whole hide to be used to make as many seats as possible - even the naff streched areas. You also get a larger choice of colours with Penny.

Another point worth noting is that you will need to wait... as Pilgrim orders take presedence over private ones. It took 2 1/2 Months to get my seats but I'm very pleased with the results.

RE: sumo seats & trim

I ordered seats recently from Pilgrim and they indicated that they are no longer using Penny Vernon anymore but I couldn't find out who they have changed to. Believe they were having some delivery problems.
Can't comment on the quality yet cos they haven't arrived !

Must say that I'm not surprised. I order my seats back in August. They only arrived last week! Must say though, quality is top notch! 8^)
