Headers

Hi guys,

I have been informed that the 'block-huggers' that I had intended to use will not fit my set up....Ford 302/Ram SC ( thanks Simon ) so question is...does anyone know where i may get my hands on stainless dairy bends that may be suitable ..or do i have to have 'bespoke' headers made??

thanks again

dave

RE: Headers

Dave,

before you take my word as gospel, what chassis do you have? the very late (and current) chassis are a couple of inches wider across the engine bay "cage". You MAY get block huggers to fit. I spoke to Adrian Cocking, and he was suprised that they wouldn't fit my chassis, so maybe they will fit the later/wider ones. If you can beg, borrow or steal a set when the engine's in place, you'll know for sure. If you don't know how to tell, post again and I'll send you a picture.
Simon

RE: Headers

A Dave who doesn't have a Dax........Amazing!!!

hi Dave.
If you are having trouble getting tight 90 degree bends in 1 3/4" O/D then give me a shout............I've got a few spare of them and some lengths of 1 3/4" pollished straight tube.
All in stainless of course.
Bends are £5.00 each
Tube is £10.00 per metre.

RE: Headers

Hi Dave,

would I be able to make myself sum of those for a RV8 using your tubing?.

If not or even if so, is the tubing good for radiator plumbing?

cheers

Ben

Here's some I made earlier, True Blue Peter fashion, love it.

Can't see the spaceship made out of the washing up liquid bottle or the toilet roll tube though. Must try harder. }( :P
