XJS V12 Calipers

Having spent ages cleaning and painting the calipers from my donor car I now need a set of seals and pistons etc. It seems that I may have a problem does any body know where I can get these items?
Cheers
Simon

RE: XJS V12 Calipers

Any motor factors should be able to get a caliper repair kit for you. They come as seals only, or with new pistons.

Wards or John Gordon will be able to supply also, I'm sure. Or david Manners Jaguar. You might not like their prices compared to a re-con caliper though.

Again if you are having trouble, let me know, and I'll get you a price from my contacts.

Russ

RE: XJS V12 Calipers

Hi Russ, just saw your reply about Jag caliper seals etc. I have sent one of my XJ12 calipers off for exchange. The other one I managed to clean up, all it needs is new seals, inner and outer. Lancaster Jaguar want £22 + VAT for a seal set (I think it's a kit for both front calipers), the cheapest I found was £18 + VAT. What price could you get them for me please? Thanks. Ian
