SVA application form / Unique Autocraft Q12 on the application form asks for the date of manufacture of the vehicle.I am not sure what I should use for this date, as the manufacturer (Unique Autocraft) no longer exist. I think the body was one of the last they made as the doors came fitted with the hinge / lock mounting bar molded in. I am told this was a seperate item on earlier models. Dose anyone know when they ceased manufacture of the python roadster? or should I put the current date as this is the time the Vehicle was completed. x(

| RE: SVA application form / Unique Autocraft Georgie, production of the Python stopped around 1994/95. Call Kris Brown 01279 412 794 who was one of the Directors of the company - he runs a Hot Rod mail order parts business today and can still supply some parts for the Python - he is always very helpful - mention my name. I too have a Python but mine's been on the road since 1994. No idea what you put on SVA form but there are other posts on the forum that might help I am sure. Nigel Brackenbury

RE: SVA application form / Unique Autocraft Nigel hope you read my reply when you answered one of my previous enquires. I still have a spare body shell although it is very, very early with only single skins for doors boot and bonnet. This shell I think was made by the Hot Rod company known as Peter & Marts in about 1979 which became Unique Autocraft. The chassis which came with the early shell has now got the latter shell fitted.I belive the chassis was made by Brian Nicholes (before he formed SR.) and Pat Hanson. Regards George

RE: SVA application form / Unique Autocraft George, I agree with Martin. I even asked the VI centre what should be entered there and they told me it should be today's date. Good luck! Tony B --- http://homepage.ntlworld.com/tony.breski

RE: SVA application form / Unique Autocraft Hello Nigel, yes I am planning to be at Elvington, if the weather is good I shall be camping. Hope to have the car with me although there is still a lot of work to do on the body so it wont have had a paint job or any interior trim. Hope to see you for a beer George
