RE: Tyre Pressures

Hi James, somewhere around 22psi will be a good starting point.

RE: Tyre Pressures

James,

My own RAM Rover/Rover/Jag. Avon ZZ1 225/55/16 Fr 18psi. 255/50/16 Rr 16 psi. This is, however, the std factory fit tyre on currnt AC built cars, but recommended factory pressure 30psi all round!

It's a matter of individual car characteristics/driver preferences. Start around 18 or 20psi and adjust to what feels best to you!

RE: Tyre Pressures

James,

read that you have installed 255/60VR15 on the rear axle.

What sort of tire is it? Pirelli Scorpion? Are you satisfied with it?

Regarding the tire pressure IŽd start from 20psi.

Carsten

Contrary Mary

Front 225/50/15. 25 PSI
Rear 245/45/15 28 PSI

James after a lot of piddling around I finally settled for the above settings, higher for track days. Viper/Jag/ RV8 Eric.
