Yet another question!

I know cables need to be fixed every 30cm, does this include the Spark plug leads ?

RE: Yet another question!

Hi Norm.
Don't tell me that you've spent all that money on a Chevy engine and you haven't bought some nice lead separators ?.......That's all you should need.

Norm
I should'nt think so.If you look at some engines you'd think they were being attacked by a giant octopus.

RE: Yet another question!

Take a look at the engine bay picture of the Ram advertised by Hallmark cars, it's the first Cobra advert.

Looks as if an Italian pasta chef has been at work !!!

RE: Yet another question!

Norman,

Depends where you go! I got picked up for it on SVA but then I didn't have any seperators or clips on. I used the lead trays for the retest and all was well.

Cheers

Jim

RE: Yet another question!

Thanks Guys,

Looks like I need the tray thingys then. I've used seperators, but the longest leads are well over 30cm

RE: Yet another question!

I was under the impression that it was only the brake pipes that needed to be clipped every 30cm's.. wires just had to be safetly secured so as to avoid abrasion with no indication of clipping space provided in the SVA documents.
