Halibrand wheels..

Hi all,

I have a pilgrim sumo, and I want to change my wheels for a halibrand réplica.
but I have a problem.. I don´t know the measures of the wheels. The only thing I know is that the wheels that I have are 15".
And the offset??
Here in Portugal I found a place that has halibrand replica, but they are very expensive.. the name of these wheels is compomotive, and they want 8x15 : 508,75Euros (more than 3000 Pounds) + VAT
10x15 :552,75? + VAT
(what is 8x15 and 10x15? wich are mine? front and rear are very different)
I think it is very expensive.. Don´t you?
It may get chepear if I order from GB and pay the ports...
But wehre is the best place to buy them??
If I order from GB, I will not have any possibility to change them, so the wheels must be the correct ones when I order. So maybe the best place to order is pilgrim.. Don´t you think??

Thanks,
Pedro Maia

Hi Pedro.
Call Image wheels on +44 121 5222 442 and they will know what sizes you will need for a Pilgrim as they supply Pilgrim with wheels.

RE: Halibrand wheels..

3000 pounds Hmmmm

at the current exchange rate 508.75 EUR = £349.110 GBP x 4 = £1396.4

So if you can buy them here for less than 1396.40 and include tax and shipping then your set..... ~~

Hello,

Why don´t you order your wheels directly from Pilgrim, they have a good price for them, and of course you will not get wrong in any way.

RE: Halibrand wheels..

The 8 and 10 are the Widths and the 15 the diameter.
Pilgrim recommended tyre offsets and sizes for Sumo are:

Front Rear
Width Offset Width Offset
7" -10mm 8" +5mm
8.5" Zero

Ordering through Pilgrim was the cheapest option when I bought my wheel last year. The only other suppliers I can think of is splitrims (http://www.splitrims.com/) or direct to Image as these are the make of wheel that Pilgrim supply.

£3000 is too bloody dear for 15" rims - I paid only £830 for the rims and £350 for the rubber (From Pilgrim). The only problem I had was it took over 7 weeks for them to arrive

RE: Halibrand wheels..

Hi all,

Thanks for the information.
I will phone pilgrim and ask for their prices, it may be the best option, because if the wheels must be the correct ones..
I think the big problem of pilgrim is the time I will be waiting. When I ordered the side exaust pipe i have being waiting for almost 6 weeks..

Thanks,
