RE: Tyre sizes (again)

Almost certainly yes but they may be a little stretched.

RE: Tyre sizes (again)

Thanks Kev,Eric.

I am having real probs finding 15" tyres.

My Kcc has masive drag tyres on the back, there are no width markings on the tyre at all but depending on where you take the measurement from they could be 265s or 275s and look OTT.

I can find plenty of 205,215,225s 15" of different profiles but any 245s or 255s are only S or T speed rated and seem to be 4x4 tyres.

I have done searches on the forum and looked at tire rack and tyres online.

The only tyre out of dozens that may fit is the Dunlope SP Sport 8000
245 50 15 but that would give me a smaller tyre i need a 55 or 60 to keep things the same.

Ian, can you find a company that deals with tyres to fit Yank Tanks? As they have no problem with imperial (inch sizes) it seems. If not I may know a guy in the American Auto Club who can help. In fact the Club may have a web site! My rears are BF Goodrich thats all I could get at the time in a hurry Eric.
