steering

I am roughly setting up the front suspension and am aware from a previous posting of the figures. But apart from wider front tyres what angle would cause the steering NOT to self centre. (sva req.)? ie caster, camber, toe in/out.

Also do I need nut covers on all the various nut heads etc on th UNDERside of the chassis floor??

Cheers

Graham

RE: steering

Graham,

Caster and no (although you'll rip your arms to shreds every time you reach under if you don't chamfer the edges )

Cheers

RE: steering

hi Graham, some folks have had to unset their camber to get the tyre inside the wheel arch on recent SVA's also had to add toe in for the same reason.
Set it up properly post test.

RE: steering

Right, cheers. I need to set it up pre test for it to pass though. I have added the now famous wheel arch extensions so I have room to play around . Now where are those settings.....
