su carbs ?

does the rover v8 fit in and close the bonnet with the standard su's fitted , thanks

Martin on my old cheetah the su carbs hit the bonnet, the answer is to cut holes out of the inner skin of the bonnrt to allow the bonnet to close, it still touched but did close.

Contrary Mary

Martin nothing to stop you having a wedge shape pieces made up, fitting between the carb and manifold brining them too a horizontal position under the bonnet; or use Stromberg's (not so high) as did they did on the TR7/8 for the very same reason Eric.
