| RE: help please door hinges!!! Hi This is the arrangement on my door, I am not too happy with it although it is functional, the plate is bolted to a pillar on the chassis ('A' post style) which allows the hinge position to be very close to the body which allows the door to move out and away from the body and not forwards much as would be the case if the pivot position was inboard more. The pivot itself is currently a pair of nasty bolts, I intend to properly bush and pin these prior to fitting, I am not all together happy with how rigid the hinge arms are and again I am hoping to improve on this by replacing the flat bar with chanel maybe Sorry Ihave not really got to door fitting yet so I remain a bit vague Chris |

| RE: help please door hinges!!! Contrary Mary Chris, you will probably find that the standard hinges on a Viper are no good; too much flex in door movement up and down! I had mine re made in larger material & Iain's are in stainless, just a thought Eric. |
