Stainless steel expansion tank
Hi all,

where can I find a stainless steel expansion tank for my AK fitted between the Rover V8 engine and the radiator? (see attached pic, on the left side)

Mine is leak

Are there companies which produce them or are they made to order?

Dax do one for about £100 or try Fowler Engineering on 01945 585147.

If you want a picture of the Dax one I'll go out to the garage and take one for you.

Thanks for Your prompt answer and advice. It would be fine to see what the Dax one looks like since I don't know if I heve place enough to fit it between the engine and the rad!

Get one tailor made from AK, its cheap, excellent quality, made to fit and looks great.

I've got a Dax, but went for an AK header tank as I think they look far superior.
So I think the answer you are looking for is - get an AK tank!
