| RE: Camshaft for 383 Chevy Building a 383 SBC and have used a Comp Cams 12-423-8 retro fit hydraulic roller, 224, 230 @ 0.050" (276, 282 @ 0.006") 0.504, 0.510 lift @ 1.5, 110 CLA. Yet to see what this will behave like yet but will be getting an Accel DFI system to sit on top. James 'Every journey begins with one small step'

| RE: Camshaft for 383 Chevy I`m building a 383 at the moment and a company called http://www.lazercams.com/ was recommended to me by my engine builder Tim Adams who builds for the Hot rodders and nascar racers. Cost about $300 but they wanted all the details of the car and how I wanted to drive it; seemed pretty thorough. Hopefully will be putting it on the dyno in a few weeks so will let you know. Paul |
